Karkandeh Cotton Research Station

Karkandeh Cotton Research Station (KCRS) is the main pathological research farm in Iran which is being directly operated by CRII. The KCRS is situated (located) at 35 kilometers southwest of Gorgan with 20 ha of cultivation area, Silty Loam soil texture which is located at 54º 02֝ 18֞ Eastern Longitude and 36º 46֝ 26 ֞ Northern Latitude

Screening of the Verticillium tolerant cotton germplasm lines is done at the Karkandeh cotton Research Station. The nucleus seeds of some tolerant varieties are produced at the same station
